My research is focused on systems which are far from thermodynamic equilibrium. This study includes reaction-diffusion systems and envelope equations. In simple autocatalytic reaction-diffusion models we study the existence and coexistence of localized structures like pulses and holes. We have developed an analytic method to study localized structures in envelope equations.
