My research is focused in studying experimentally the rich non-linear dynamics in non-equilibrium systems, such as granular media, foams, dissipative fluids and acoustic interactions in two phase media. I also have a strong background in acoustics, subject that has some nice fundamental problems but also can be used as a very useful experimental characterization tool.
